Looking at today's standings and I don't believe they will stay like this. I believe that Portland will take the 8th seed in the West because the Nuggets do not have the star power that the Trail Blazers have. Portland is a team that's struggling at the moment but they can only get better. While in the eastern conference, I believe Charlotte and Milwaukee will make pushes towards the 7 and 8th seeds. Those two teams have emerging stars in Giannis and Kemba while the Bulls are struggling to trust each other and the Pistons just don't seem to be all the way there. This will be the first and last standing update before the NBA All Star Break.
